More Prague and Less Crowds

I remember when we were in New York with our children that I found the crowds overwhelming. The same could be said of our first day in Prague – so many tourists. Yes, I know we are tourists too!

My goal for our remaining time in Prague is to avoid, as much as possible, the crowds now that we have seen Prague Castle, the Astronomical Clock and Charles Bridge.

Onto Prague

Whilst we loved our few days in Vienna we looked forward to our next city Prague. We had heard so many positives about it that we happily boarded our train bound for Prague with very fond memories of our first and hopefully not last visit to Vienna.

The train ride provided Four hours to do some reading about Prague, rework my next article for The Adelaide Review, and do a little catch up on work ( yes I know it’s holidays).

Planning our trip to Europe

I love planning holidays as it adds to the excitement and anticipation.

Sorting out the airfares, planning the places to visit, reading hotel reviews, buying travel books, finding places where we might eat, sights to see, buying new luggage and so on!

We decided a couple of weeks ago that we would take three to four weeks in late June through July and go somewhere. It’s peak season in Europe and not really our preferred time for travel, but it’s also University semester break and the quietest time at work in my year.
